2025 Bold Futures Partners

We are pleased to announce our 2025 Bold Futures - Project Partners for the next three years. 

Bold Futures - Project Grants support innovative, medium-term initiatives that test bold solutions to complex social challenges. Focusing on thriving children, safe and connected communities, and forward thinking community or social innovation projects. The round funds early intervention, prevention and new approaches with the potential for scalable impact across Victoria. Grants of up to $200,000 per annum for up to three years enable organisations to pilot projects aimed at shifting trajectories and addressing entrenched issues.

People & Place Partners

We are pleased to announce our 2025 People & Place partners. 

People & Place Grants support community-led, whole of community initiatives across Victoria that strengthen local resilience and enhance social cohesion. Designed to build the capacity of individuals and organisations, the program empowers communities to work collaboratively to improve health and wellbeing for all residents. Funding of up to $300,000 per annum for up to five years supports initiatives with the potential for lasting, positive change.

Investing in Regional Victoria

We are delighted to announce that The Jack Brockhoff Foundation is one of four Victorian philanthropic foundations that have joined forces in a unique $5 million partnership with the Foundation for Rural Regional Renewal (FRRR) which will strengthen the capacity and resilience of communities over the next five years. 

FY25 Early Career Medical Research Recipients

We are pleased to announce our FY25 Early Career Medical Research Recipients.

Bold Futures - Early Career Medical Research Grants are designed to bolster Victoria’s research capability by supporting exceptionally promising early career scientists conducting studies into the causes, prevention, detection, treatment or palliation of conditions affecting population health. These grants enable researchers with fewer than three years of active post-PhD research to undertake independent, publishable investigations that lay the groundwork for future competitive funding and academic career progression.

2024 Grassroots Capabilities Partners

We are pleased to announce our 2024 Grassroots Capabilities partners. 

Our Grassroots Capabilities Grant Round supports small, community based organisations across Victoria to strengthen their capacity and enhance their ability to deliver positive, lasting outcomes. The program focuses on building skills, systems and structures that enable grassroots groups to grow their impact and better serve their communities.

The Jack Brockhoff Foundation is delighted to unveil its dynamic new five-year strategic direction. This forward-thinking strategy reflects our dedication to enhancing the Foundation's grant-making approach, while remaining faithful to the vision of our founder, Sir Jack Brockhoff.

We are confident that these strategic enhancements will enable us to foster strong relationships with our grant partners to amplify their positive impact on the health and wellbeing of all Victorian’s, so they may enable their communities to thrive.

2023-2024 Annual Report

We are pleased to share with you The Jack Brockhoff Foundation’s 2024 Annual Report. This year’s report highlights the incredible work of our grant partners and reflects on the milestones achieved as we continue to honour Sir Jack Brockhoff’s legacy.

The report captures a year of transformation for the Foundation, marked by governance leadership transitions, a renewed focus for our granting strategy (which will be highlighted in next year’s report), and the journey we are on to align our investments with our mission. From supporting early career medical researchers to partnering with grassroots organisations tackling homelessness, literacy, and sharing the benefits of renewable energy, our work remains centred on creating lasting, meaningful change across Victoria.
